About my practice

Therapeutic Lens

Using a variety of evidence-informed approaches, including Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioural, Dialectical Behaviour T, Acceptance and Commitment and Person-Centered Therapy, I believe therapy should be tailored to each individual and their unique experiences, goals, and circumstances.

From a positive psychology foundation, I focus on each person’s strengths and viewing clients as the experts in their own lives. I value developing a strong therapeutic relationship and approach counselling with curiosity, collaboration, and humour. My goal is to create a supportive space where we can work together to help you move toward the future you want.

Teens and Adults

I have supported adults in a variety of settings including supportive listening and crisis intervention to post secondary students and adults and individuals experiencing physical and psychological workpace related injuries, navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, autism, and ADHD.

I incorporate mindfulness, values exploration, and other practical exercises to help clients better understand their experiences, build coping skills, and move toward the life they want to live.

Neurodivergent Children and Parents

I support neurodivergent children - primarily those with autism, ADHD, and Global Developmental Delays - using play, curiosity, and humor to build connection. I also collaborate closely with parents to understand their child’s strengths while supporting the entire family's wellbeing.

I am passionate about providing parents of children with disabilities a space where they feel cared for as individuals, not just caregivers. Recognizing the unique emotional and systemic challenges you face, my goal is to help you navigate these complexities while prioritizing your own mental health and support.
