Therapy for Families

"Feelings of worth flourish in an atmosphere where individual differences are appreciated, mistakes are tolerated, communication is open, and rules are flexible — the kind of atmosphere that is found in a nurturing family."
- Virginia Satir

Families can be a source of support or a challenge to navigate. Most are a combination of both. Drawing from family systems and communication theory, our psychological team can help you learn, model and adopt new ways of communicating and relating.

Our team has specialized expertise in high conflict family situations that involve the Courts (e.g. Practice Note 7) and can include post-separation counselling, parent-child reunification, and child, family, or parent counselling.

In the spirit of truth, reconciliation, and healing, we recognize that Integrity Psychology is located on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional gathering place and meeting ground for diverse Indigenous peoples including the Nêhiyawak (Cree), Anishinaabe (Saulteaux), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, Dene, and Nakota Sioux, and many others whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to enrich our vibrant community.
